Walk & Talk in Albany

Walk & Talk: Explore Great Design with Your Upstate ASLA Community.

We will be walking the ALBANY SKYWAY, a unique project that converted an underutilized highway ramp into an elevated linear park. The tour will look at various elements on the project and will discuss the associated challenges and solutions encountered during planning, design, and construction, co-led by the Design Principal and Project Manager (Gary Sorge and Chris Carter). We will get both the landscape architecture and structural design perspective for a full picture of the project.

When: Thursday, August 3rd @ 4:30 pm

Where: meet at the Corning Preserve parking lot
