Watkins Glen Lower Entrance Project & Gorge Walking Tour
On October 27th, NYS Parks led a very informative and enjoyable walking tour of the Lower Entrance Improvements Project, examining the design principles, impacts of design changes, and the role of stewardship. The second part of the tour focused on the geological, ecological, and historical features, the impacts of invasive species, and the role of park maintenance throughout the Gorge. The event culminated at the Grist Iron Brewing Company with great conversation and delicious food and drink.
