Resilient Together: 2022 Upstate New York APA / ASLA Conference - Call for Presentations

The New York Upstate Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA), the Western New York APA Section (WNY APA), and the New York Upstate Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) are jointly hosting the 2022 Annual Chapter Planning Conference in Buffalo at the Aloft Hotel, from Wednesday, October 12 through Friday, October 14. This joint Conference is an opportunity for planners, landscape architects and community advocates to learn and share successful strategies for revitalization in the Upstate region. The conference theme “Resilient Together” exemplifies the resolute fortitude that so many in our community have exhibited over the last few years.

We are seeking session presentations that present cutting edge skills and/or highlight current issues relevant to planners and landscape architects throughout Upstate New York. We are also developing ideas for mobile workshops and ways to encourage involvement of graduate students and citizen planners.

If you have a presentation that you would like to share at the conference, please submit your information on the form here. Please fill out all the information – it is needed in order to submit for CM and LACES credits. Sessions must meet certain criteria as outlined in the attached document.

Please submit your session proposal form electronically by 4:30 pm on June 23rd, 2022 to Jonathan Bleuer at jbleuer@clarence.ny.us

If you have questions about sessions, submittal requirements or related topics, please contact Jonathan Bleuer (APA) at jbleuer@clarence.ny.us or Molly Vendura (ASLA) at mvendura@VenduraLA.com.
