Wendel is growing and looking to hire an energetic, passionate Landscape Architect capable of adding to the positive energy that exists within our vibrant downtown Buffalo office. With numerous offices located in strategic cities throughout the U.S., our Landscape Architecture / Urban Planning & Design group is based in the Historic Marin Building in Buffalo NY alongside our Architecture and Interior Design colleagues.
Candidates should be self-motivated, driven, and comfortable working within a collaborative studio and office culture. You will help build strong relationships with clients and agencies and efficiently coordinate with other design team members to solve design challenges. You will be expected to contribute in all phases of project work: from concept development and graphics production, to construction documentation and administration. We have a sincere commitment to giving responsibility to design professionals in order to build proficiency and confidence within the field of landscape architecture with ample opportunity for career growth.
Qualifications:
You should have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited University in Landscape Architecture.
You should have a firm foundation in computer aided design and graphics applications including AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, Vectorworks and Microsoft Office.
You have strong design, communication and hand graphics skills to support our experienced and diversely talented Landscape Architecture group.
