Active Listening - New Time

Start your week from a place of calm clarity. The ASLA-NYU DEI committee is hosting a weekly practice in Active Listening as a way to clearly communicate with clients, colleagues, friends or stakeholders. This is a simple, yet effective way of creating a platform where everyone feels heard.

I have found a surprising amount of value in this weekly practice and it’s flowing into how I listen to friends, colleagues and in meetings.

Watching myself listen is like a new game! It’s fascinating being aware of what I am hearing and how I am listening, at the same time.
